“The perfect background music”

When I approach a classy event, I want the mood to be beautiful, lush, vibey, atmospheric, and most definitely hip.  When I play a party, I want the vibe to be fun and energetic.  After I’m done playing, I want a hug from the great grandma that listens to Sinatra, and a fist-bump from the teenager that listens to Metallica.  I play something everyone can enjoy.  I do this all through looping and layering my instruments.  Using special equipment, I record and overdub my playing on the fly, while creating a thick and luscious atmosphere that sounds like it would be coming from more than one musician.

When I agree to play any of these events, I take everything into account that the customer wants, meaning I want YOUR input on the music I play.  I can take any and all types of music and turn them into something that fits your event.  I’ve played the classic Canon in D for the Bride’s Processional, while I’ve also played Guns N’ Roses for the Bride’s Processional.  I can take any song, any style (even hard rock or metal) and arrange it into something beautiful and fitting for your event.  Most people want something laid back for the ceremonies, while sometimes wanting something a little more diverse for the cocktail hour.  So once the ceremony is over, and it’s cocktail hour and the drinks start flowing (I mean, this is Wisconsin right?), I can bring a little more sass and funk to the music.

Other than my pride in what I bring to the music, I pride myself in being a people person.  Setting up an event can be stressful enough, and I want to alleviate any of the stress I can.  I’m extremely easy to work with and bring an upbeat and reassuring energy to what I know can be a hectic day.  I’d put the same amount of energy into your special day that I did for my little sister’s weddings.  There’s plenty of other stuff to worry about, so just leave the music up to me.
